I don't have big ape hands, and while the wood grips weren't terrible on my Tanfoglio Witness Hunter, I wanted thinner grips. I was hoping that the thinnest grips would bring the grip width close to my SP-01 and CZ Compacts.
Thing 1: These thing aluminum grips are so expensive! I wish Lok made their thing G10 grips for Witnesses. Would have saved me a chunk of change.
Thing 2: I couldn't believe how thin the grip felt with these new grips. I measured and it was the same width as my SP-01 with the thin aluminum grips from CZC (that have the really aggressive texture). I'm not going to lie, I'm really impressed with how this pistol feels in the hand.
Now, I mentioned I would do a deeper review... I have pics but I just haven't gotten around to writing about all the differences in the internal systems. Sorry, I'll try and get it done while I'm in vacation next week.
Here's the pics. And yes, I got the same color as the grips I put on my daughter's SP-01 Compact. [emoji3] (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170803/d13ff9bf11ef4c58bfb41ed4770b6c8c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170803/bbf034ae5d7260605bfacbb9f7d1f7a5.jpg)

Those are gorgeous! I like the black and red contrast.
Where did you get them? Not for my Hunter, but for my Witness Limited.

Very very Nice Pistols and Grips! 8) :)

When I looked into buying a Tanfo, the price of aftermarket parts was pretty shocking. Are all the large frame Tanfos the same? Isn't that what the Shadow 2 was supposedly patterned after?

Thanks! I liked how the red looked on the first pistol, and couldn't help go for them again. Got them from Ben Stoeger's online shop.

Yeah, when I was looking into getting a Tanfo I was blown away by the cost of those parts. I don't think I'll get the nice hammer and other goodies because the hammer isn't bad on the hunter and the aftermarket part is so costly. Cajun Gun Works, hint hint.... Here's a market where your prices would win you a huge market share [emoji48].
I think they are all the same size, except the ones with bigger mag wells (needing shorter grip).
