Well, SORT of realistic in the act that the gun is left unlubed and unloved, but just fired until it failed, and as to not spoil the surprise I won't tell you the round count...Never heard of this ammo company, though, anyone else? Nice to see no boxes of dirt, mud, sand, belly button lint or Slushies in this one...hmm, would SLushies cause a gun to fail???

Well I'd say the P-10C is looking like a stout contender.
-
Looks like they had a good time shooting all that ammo. This is the first I have heard of that ammo manufacturer also, but at a buck a round, is out of my price range. The CZ was looking pretty knarly towards the end, but was pretty impressive.
-
Awesome video looks like they had a lot of fun

That's what my brother needs.
A pistol you don't have to clean, lube or take care of. He's testing his 1911 and his AK all the time. He can make an AK rust. I've seen it.
One of these might survive his bad habits.

Less than a minute in and credibility is out the window. Picks the gun out of the case, sweeps his buddy's femoral artery and his finger goes right for the trigger. And stays there until he finally starts to clear it.

Does that change how many rounds it went without cleaning/lubing and being dunked in a dirty creek to cool it down every 300 rounds?
-
These guys looked like they were having a great time. The CZ P10C looked good too. :)
-
But the slide gap!!!! ;)
Seriously, I'm going to just omit the limp-wristed stovepipes and call it 10,000 good.

Wellllll , no tee shirt, belly button, or pocket " lint "
in that test. They didn't mention what lube they didn't use. Or how many times they didn't clean there mag springs and follower or the extracter spring and channel. Or polish the feed ramp. bleep , Does that make that test inconclusive. :o

I'd say if this is what w can expect from the P10 C then it is a solid contender for those who like the striker fired platform.

We all know, that if we walk into a store and buy 5 "identical" pistols one may be more accurate than the others, one may be more dependable than the others, one will break before the others, etc., etc., etc.
Fact of life. "identical" pieces are not identical.
But, it's nice to see it's possible to get a good one, at random. Both reliable and dependable. If it feels good in your hand then it's a great candidate for your new self defense handgun.

While this is true on some level the initial quality has to be there for the product to be successful. What happens 10k rnds down the line is important but what happens initially is the make or break stage. We see some complaints here but they are not a proper sampling of what may be going on with these pistols and the actual failure rate may be very small in contrast to the number of pistols shipped and sold. The rate could be very high as well but if that were the case I'd think CZ would have a protocol in place to get the guns taken care of or recalled altogether.
I've handled 3 different examples now at 2 different shops and they all felt good in the hand, trigger was outstanding and the stiff mag release complaint was not there. If I decide to try a striker pistol again it will no doubt be the P-10.

In that screen shot it's pointed in the bed of the F150.
-
As he picks it up, he muzzles his buddy's leg. Then he puts his finger on the trigger. Then he clears it.

I don't know which bothers me more: the inexcusable gun handling, or the fact that they either didn't notice it or considered it acceptable to leave in the edited video.
-
Ganna disagree on that one, it is aiming in his general direction while in the box, but not directly at him. He picks it up and rotates the gun towards the bed of the truck while keeping the muzzle aimed down.
Can't say that going for the trigger regardless was safe, however.
-
I would imagine that that was not the first time they had that gun out of the box and that it was probably safety checked more than once, which probably caused them to get careless when they started filming. In any event, their credibility is destroyed, their ammo now sucks and the 10K rounds through the CZ, meaningless. ::)
-
What I meant was hopefully this was bought at a store, not a picked sample sent to them for testing (as often happened in the old days with gun magazine writers.)
So, it's a gun that you could buy and have a pretty good feeling it would meet your requirements for reliability and accuracy, while whether or not it felt good in your hands is up to the buyer/handler.
I didn't mean it was a accident that there was a few good ones out there and they just happened to get one of those.

I am surprised it lasted as long as it did, only because the ejection from the get go seems weak. My P10c is, for a CZ at least. Own and shot other guns that barely kick em out and never have problems. Only had 3 stove pipes or failures to eject, but the gun was brand new shooting Freedom reloads and my sisters was shooting it; grip left a little to be desired.

At a buck a roundwho do they think they are ? Freedom HST... no I don't think so

They're sold copper cnc milled bullets like Barnes. If you want to load them yourself, they are around 20 cents per bullet, which is reasonable for solid copper. Personally, though, I have no interest in them.
