Title: RRK without using the set screws
Post by: doc171 on October 11, 2017, 01:47:25 PM
I am getting ready to install the proper RRK in my second P01 with a defensive package to go to the full PRO package. I have found that I like the PRO version better as installed in my PCR and my first P01. I am removing the 85C trigger and 1485 disconnector and put them up for purchase or trade. But, thats's beside the point, I was just wondering about if anyone had left out the set screws for the heck of it and can report on if it works or not. Just saying it for the information....

If you leave out the set screw it is just an 85C trigger.

Yes. It will work just like it does now without the RRK.

Not exactly.  It'll have a longer pull to engagement and a short pull from there to the break.  My B has that.

Thanks for correcting me. I couldn't tell much difference in my shadow before I put the set screws in. Made a big difference then.

Are you just afraid to tell us that you lost the set screws during installation?
