Got one coming in for $750.00 NIB! Price okay? Recommend improvements?

MSRP is $816 so that's not a bad price. The 97 is an awesome pistol as it comes but I went with a CGW ring hammer and spring kit in mine. Really smoothed out the DA and the SA is outstandingly crisp and clean. I also sent my slide in to CGW and had them machine it for their 1911 style barrel bushing. The 97 is displays great accuracy as is but the improved bushing takes it to a new level that rivals high end .45's.

Congrats! Very good gun!
Check out CGW?s ?E Conversion?. Bought one from a member here that had already been done by CGW and WOW what a fantastic shooter! I love my 1911?s in .45 but have to say, this CZ-97 ?E? has been the most accurate and sweet shooting .45 I?ve owned or shot. Was amazed how quick and accurate I can shoot follow up shots with this gun. Seems to just naturally settle in right back on target with very minimal effort. Highly recommend CGW and their E Conversion!

I just had the ?E? Conversion done to my CZ97B, and it is my favorite gun to shoot right now!!!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171112/c1cca6c7e84995d602493f2de6eb2cc6.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171112/fe181b40fed1f160c31872abae61de61.jpg)

Gratz on your new CZ!
I suggest checking that the set scerw in the LCI plate located just to the rear of the ejection port has some lock tight on it. A number of forum members including my self had the LCI fly off/fall off during the first few mags down range. I had an extractor issue that was handled under warranty but i have not seen anyone els have this issue. Otherwise i have not had any issues with my 97BD.

Thanks! Will do.

+1
The 97 BE really is an amazing pistol. Every CZ fan owes it to themselves to try and shoot one.

Congratulations! I?ve left my 97BD stock except for some new grips. I wanted to shoot it for awhile before deciding on upgrades. Honestly, it?s an awful good shooter as a stock pistol, too.
-
I plan to also shooting stock form. Got one question! The recoil guide rod looks flimsy. Made of plastic and is bent under tension. Is this normal? Should I go for steel piece?
-
I like steel guide rods and I have them in all my CZ's but the plastic rod will serve you just fine as is too. They are a preference as opposed to a necessity.

Re. "Recommended Improvements?"
CGW Short Reset Kit, OEM 85 "Thick" trigger, and polished SA notch of hammer, with a speck of anti-seize at the sear interface.

GOOD CHOICE!!!
