Hey guys! I had a couple Manticore Arms / PGS 32 round steel lip magazines 2-3 months ago and they would never lock the bolt open upon an empty magazine. I think this was due to the top of the magazine being shorter or more shallow than the OEM / factory magazines.
I know not everyone has had this issue, but there are a number of us who have.
Anyone know if this has been fixed or addressed or updated in anyway?

I think the cure is a stronger spring.
Had the same issue with my Manticore 32 round mag and it was worse after adding a Taylor Freelance +10 extension and using their spring.
Emailed Taylor and now am running a modified Glock 32 round magazine spring.
OMG, the follower pressure is perfect now. Feels just like a factory 20 or 30 round mag.
42 rounds is pretty cool too 8)

Have you contacted Manticore or Prepper yet?
Fyi the underside surface of the feed lips is the exact same angle and height of the OEM mags, and the height of the top of the feed lips has no impact on feeding or bolt lock open.

I'm on the list when more Steel lipped magazines become available. I really need a few.

Thank you for info.

I've been iffy on trying out these mags but from the sounds of peoples testimonies on their customer service. heck, i'll bite.

I have two and have put about a thousand rounds through them with no problems.
-
These things seem to be sold out everywhere!
1) They must be really good.
or
2) They have put a hold production or distribution to work out the problems.
Any ideas?
-
I think its because they are selling out.
-
Hope you are right!

They are selling faster than we were able to get the most recent production run finished.
