I just picked up my second CZ a SP01 and I have a grip question. I have small hands so I am looking for something thinner than the stock rubber grips. My problem is that the slim grips I look up leave that ugly notch uncovered at the top rear. What are my options for thin grips that cover the back upper grip frame.

What grips are you looking at?
Most around here either go with VZ or LOK grips if you like the g-10 material or aluminum grips from CZ or CGW.

the VZ's look like they may work. Both the slim LOK grips and the CZ aluminum leave the weird opening at the back of the frame. Are the VZ's slim enough to make a noticeable difference in trigger reach.

What weird opening?

thank you, and yes the picture is exactly what I was talking about. I think the slim grips make the gun look incomplete. I will check out the Shadow II grips from LOK

Although there is still the "ledge" at the back, my LOK grips are flush and don't have that protrusion.

I have the thin bogies, P01 though. I have the thin aluminum on my Spo1.

If you like wood, I can make them pretty thin also.

I agree with the O.P. that the exposed sharp point takes away the smooth look of the pistol.
