Title: CZ50 Extractor?
Post by: ckaine on December 23, 2017, 09:41:42 AM
Hello:

I am new to the Forum and my CZ(VZ)50. Thank you for allowing me to join. I look forward to leaning!

I have an issue with my recently acquired CZ50. The extractor does not appear to be correct. It functions, i.e. extracts the spent round-BUT-it never rests flush with the slide when the pistol is unloaded, and it also does not push the Loaded Indicator out when loaded. If I push on the rear of the extractor, the Indicator does protrude.

My questions is; how difficult is it to replace the Extractor, and is there any written or video instructions.

TIA

Chris

I've never had to take my CZ70 apart, but here is an exploded diagram: http://www.bvs.cz/images/CZ_50_70_76517.gif

HLE has ebooks on some of the older CZs, I've bought one and it is very explanatory.

Here is a link to a video about what is in the CZ70 (just a later version of the CZ50) ebook:

Good luck!

Sounds like the extractor spring is broke.  Apex and buymilsurp used to carry NOS extractor springs,    Got to watch Numrich, they have the spring but it might be used.
