Title: CZ Rami "sticky" mag question
Post by: unionman on January 03, 2018, 07:57:05 PM
I recently picked up a CZ Rami BD, 9mm, really like it a lot.  However, the mags are fairly "sticky"; i.e. I need to jam them hard to get them to seat and they usually won't "drop free" because of this.  Same with multiple mags, but some are worse than the others.  Is this a normal thing with the Rami?  Will it better with time?  Any way to fix?  thanks!

Look into the mag well and see if the grip screws or bushings are protruding in to the mag well.

More than likely, this right here is the issue.

It doesn?t take much. I?ve had this happen when a bushing was turned in half a turn too much.

I had same problem. While bushings will not move with grips in place, I still decided to loctite bushings. Use blue loctite so if need to remove should be no problem even without heat, but if needed no problem to apply a little heat in that area.
