Based solely on suggestions from apparently knowledgeable people on this site, I ordered the replacement firing retaining pin from Cajun. I have never dry fired my Rami. None the less, when removed, the original pin showed significant damage from being hit by the firing pin. While the damage was not sufficient to cause problems with removal, it was unsettling. I have to assume this happened while in the local gun shop where I bought it. I had no difficulty in replacing the pin. This note is to let you know that some of the suggestions made in this forum are good ones.
I still like my Rami. It is a very accurate and dependable gun in a small package.

First off, I am very glad it worked out and you still like your Rami!
Secondly, the way you phrased that just made me laugh.

I blame the wording on Doc Martin. I watched Doc on TV right before writing this. (If you don't watch Public Broadcasting System TV, Doc Martin is a good English comedy.)

Being a millennial... I don't know what this "Public Broadcasting System" is that you speak of? Is it like an open source version of Netflix? O0

How about "please consider 'accurate information'"?
That made me laugh.
