Purchasing locally from Cabela's via their card gift. Traveling salesman with recent close encounter with a bad guy. Need to carry with dress slacks, button up shirt tucked. Thinking P07. Appreciate your thoughts on choice and holster.

Good versatile choice. Will do everything you need it do.
Personal holster recommendation would be Black Rhino Concealment or Priority1 Holsters for what i assume is 3-4 o'clock carry setups for business ware.

I'm in sales as well. If you spend a lot of time driving, you may want to consider the P10. The 07 carries nicely but the beavertail can be an issue for hours in the car.

P07 is a great gun, but the short trigger reset, low recoil shooting and grip ergonomics of the P10 c made me sell my P07. Worth comparing would be a P01 (or similar models 75 compact, 75 PCR). CZ is a wonderful family of guns, I love them, but not all the same, so fit and feel are important to consider, everyone is different and likes different aspects. Either way, if you try CZs, and find the one that works, you'll be so glad you did.

Great, adding the P10. Tks gents.

Quick Cabela's online search reveals no stocked P-10C. Guess I will watch their gun library for used.

CZ only? For dressier clothing I'd recommend the glock 43. The glock 26 is also great although a bit thicker, but comparable to the p07

CZ 75D PCR. There is none better.

A little experience with the G26 from a while back. None with the PCR or 43. Thanks for the ideas.

I carry a 43 most of the time. It is very easy to conceal and doesn't get heavy and uncomfortable by the end of the day. In fact in rendered my G27 (same size as a 26) to the safe and I finally sold it. I shoot the 43 way better than I ever shot the 27 and the 43 is way easier to carry, for me at least.

They are available all over the web, even in FDE. Just search the online stores, P10c's are out there in abundance.

Yep. I received a few Cabela's gift cards over the holidays. Would like to spend the $ there.

For business dress, it's hard to deny the appeal of a single stack. I carry double stack whenever I can, but sometimes you need to compromise. I've carried an Austria made G43 and loved it, my wife has it now. I also had one made in Smyrna, GA and had corrosion issues on the slide. They replaced it with a new gun and the new one corroded in less than two months so I sold it. For single stack days, I carry a Shield 45. Carrying a single stack iwb is so comfortable it will spoil you. However, capacity is King if you can conceal it.

Makes sense. Another to consider. I appreciate it.

Another to consider is the new Sig 365. Its new, so it may or may not have some roll out issues, but size and 10 rds is a nice bump over both great guns, the G43 and Shield. Sig also has a P938, and CZ has the 75 RAMI. I'd recommend going to one of those huge gun stores and fondling as many as you can. Read reviews, watch YouTube vids on each one, take your time and make a decision that you'll feel good about.

I love my CZ 75b. It's not a concealed carry gun though and my P10C is not here yet. I'm personally considering the newly announced Sig p365 but it will take a very fine weapon to replace my Shield Performance Center 9mm and Vedder Tuckable IWB holster as an everyday all day comfortable carry. Be sure to shoot anything you are considering. Find a range that rents or borrow a friend's. They all have different personalities and our geometries are all different.

Shield in an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 works well.

Modern advances in ammo make the 9mm,.40S&W,and .45ACP very similar in ballistic performance. Since you hunt you already know shot placement is the key to stopping the target.
If possible try renting some of the guns on your list and see what YOU like best. Personally I like the .45 in a semi-auto but I shoot and carry the 9mm. Accuracy is top notch in CZ pistols with good capacity and recently 9mm ammo has really come down nicely in price which makes practicing often much more affordable especially for those who don't handload.

Thanks. Do not reload.

Single stack M&P Shield is a decent gun and can be had for reasonable prices .

Only bought 1 from Cabelas. P938 Scorpion. Stashes easy, looks great and was $100 off. Couldn't say no.

First, consider the Kangaroo Carry Air Marshal rig for carry between your tee shirt and dress shirt. Very discreet. With it many sidearm options are opened up. Second, my Walther PPS M2 slips into my slacks pocket many times when needed. Easy in and out of your pocket to your glove box or console as needed while in the car if you prefer that flexibility. I've slipped into the front pocket of Jeans as well which by nature aren't as blousy as my pleated slacks that I wear and yet it disappears. It also fits well into inside chest pocket of jacket pockets. All of this is with the 6 round mag stoked with 124 grain XTP hollows. Seven round spare mag rides in my left slacks / pants pocket. It's a very soft shooter for its size as well. I would say equipment consideration varies according to your changing attire. Just like you don't run or excercise in dress shoes and neither do you necessarily wear tennis shoes with a suit, my EDC and EDC gear vary with the situation and need. To always be compliant and prepared is the end goal and how you get there flexes with the situation.
Best of luck in your pursuit in this endeavor.
