Installed a short reset kit from Cajun Gun Works and had no issues getting everything back together except the safety. When I reinstalled the safety it wasn't engaging properly...engagement wasn't very positive. It could actually be pressed lower than the firing position. I ended up installing the decocker since that's what I run on all my other DA/SA guns but I;m curious what might have been done incorrectly by me.

When you were installing the safety did you leave the decocker spring in?

That left side safety should have a small spring and a small plastic piece
that the spring pushes forward against the shaft of the safety. That little piece is what gives you the "click" and holds the safety in position when you move the safety lever.
Sometimes that piece and the spring fall out/off when you remove the safety. You have to be on the lookout for it and make sure you reinstall it if it does fall out.
Actually, look at TOK36's pictures. The detent and spring push against a small "pin" that is out in front of the shaft and controls how far up/down the safety can be moved.

Bingo! I had actually found that piece when I was clearing my workbench (kitchen table) but initially thought it was from something else. Saved it so I'll be good to go if I ever want to reinstall the safety. Thanks

Tok36, nice pictures. I was wishing I'd taken some once or twice when I had mine apart, but nope.
Do you mind if a I "copy" one of yours for future use?
