Title: I'm looking for wood/rubber grips for CZ97b
Post by: Terry G on February 03, 2018, 05:12:44 PM
I think wood or rubber grips would suit me more for my new 97b.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Search DaveB for the laminate and CZ makes some rubber grips for the 97 that are similar to the ones for the 75B.

Thanks, I'll take a look at both.

Today I put on a pair of the rubber grips that CZ-USA sells. Of course I had to go to the range to try them out.  For me, the rubber grips helped my small hands keep a better grip on the 97B.  The aluminum grips are good, but for me the rubber seemed to work better.  The downside to the rubber grips is that they don't have a logo???.

I'm going with the rubber also.  It's a carry gun so I think the rubber grips will suit me better.

I put a pair of CZ rubber grips on. Like them so much better than the metal ones

I would kill for a set of palm swell bogies for 97. The OEM rubber grips feel better than the aluminum ones, but a 75 style  palm swell would be awesome.

As an aside, I can't believe how fast I took to this gun.  After doing a new gun clean. I fired maybe forty rounds with it and decided to use it for my yearly LESB qualification.  I fired another 100 or so rounds, cleaned it up,  and used it to get my highest score ever.  I put away my Glock 21 which I liked a lot.  It's now second string for EDC.
