Is it better to get the stock version and then have that customized or the CZ Custom version?

If the customized version has what your looking for, just buy it outright if you want a different setup, buy the gun and have it customized to your liking........usually the main shops have the base guns available to be upgraded to your specs.

Availability might factor into your decision.  There will always be a lead time when you send one out for custom work.  So if the CZ Custom version is in stock that might be the better option if you don't want to wait.

I would say it's better to have your pistol customized from the get-go. I recently had Cajun Gun Works order a new Phantom for me, had them have it delivered to their facility, told them what work I wanted to be done and they then did all their custom work on it before shipping to my local FFL for me to pick up. The process worked out very well for me and took around two months from start to finish.

I just got the CZC phantom customized today. cant wait to shoot it
