Let me start by saying this is my first CZ in 20 or so years. What after market sights and grips do you like?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you!

I just put a HiViz fiber optic on my old SA for a front sight. For me the front sight got washed out at the indoor ranges, so I put that on and it made it a lot better.
-
I really like fiber optic sights, especially on the front. Thank you

Eyes can be different. I hated fiber optic sights. I just never felt I could be as precise with that big orange ball sticking out on the end of the barrel like a sore thumb. My XDM 5.25" 9MM has one, my P07 and P09 with the RMRs have them as part of the back up sight set up.
Then I got the (used) Tactical Sport .40 S&W and it has a smaller diameter green FO front sight. I like it!! I mean it is easily visible. It doesn't overwhelm the target or the rear sight with a big fuzzy glow. It may be that a small diameter orange FO front sight would work as well or better, but I'm happy with the smaller green "dot" as is.
Eyes can be different. What works for me may not work for someone else.

The older my eyes get the more i like FO sights. I used to prefer white 3 dot sights.

It finally came. I didn't like(hated actually)the factory grips.
I did however find some Cool Hand grips to replace them.

Grips look nice Familyguy.

Thank you czsuby, they feel great. The next item to be replaced is the sights. I shot indoors sunday and they were less than useful. By comparison, the novak style sights on my Kimber were fine.

Hi, I'm curious (I also recently got a SA), how do you get on with the safety on yours?
My left hand safety seems to get in the way when I am gripping the pistol with both hands and I wondered if you have the same issue?
As for sights, I put a CZ custom black rear and fiber optic front on mine and they are fantastic! A huge improvement over the stock sights.
Still haven't decided on grips....I'm tempted by the black rubber ones as they are so cheap ($21). But I do like the look of the aluminum ones!
-
I put my right (strong) thumb on top of the LH safety. I carry cocked and locked and this makes sure the safety is off when I'm ready to fire. It's impossible to not flick the safety off this way, which is a concern some people that prefer decockers bring up.

If I may, where did you find the black rubber grips for $21?

I do the same thing thng when I grip the SA (ride the safety with my right thumb). But it seems to push my left thumb out and away from the slide leaving a gap when I grip with both hands.

I have two sets of CoolHand grips, grenade and snake on SP01 and the CGW thing Aluminum on the SA.
I do like the factory rubber SP-01 grips, but didn't care for the plastic version that came on the 75B-SA.
Opposite results for the triggers. Love the feel of the flat SA trigger and now have a CGW 85 style trigger to replace the pinchy factory trigger on the SP01.

So I got to play with an SP01 yesterday which had the rubber grips, and compare it to my SA with the plastic ones. I think I am sold on the rubber, they felt good, and a definite improvement over the stock ones.

I shoot thumbs up and out to avoid the safety.
