Title: Another weird compact
Post by: Chicago Dude on February 27, 2018, 01:33:55 PM
Here is another weird compact.
Body clearly calls for P-01, but markings call for 75 D Compact.
Go figure.

This configuration is actually fairly common, just depends on the given production run whether or not they're marked as P-01's.

I love that the auction is listed as No Reserve Penny, but then you see it does have a reserve

Seeing as this is a used item......I wonder if somebody swapped out the slide, trying to set up some "unicorn" mojo.......

In a couple of the photos, you can see the SN matches on slide and frame so no switching here. Like Earl Keefe wrote, a relatively common setup in the US market due to production timing and it?s the standard setup in the European market.

Thanks for the clarification.

It?s one of those handy features of CZs where serialization is done on many parts. You?ll see it on Czech and Slovak pistols.

I was trying to see if it has the LCI but the pics don?t show the top of the slide.

The sticky above use to have pics,(thanks Photobucket[emoji34])
The 75D is the Czech designation for both the P01 and PCR. So ya pretty common, they?ll even mix the slides up sometimes. IE 75D designation slide with P01 sight cut on PCR frame and vise verse.
