Title: Suppressor - benefits / drawbacks?

So ...

After chasing my tail after a couple of SP-01 Tacticals on Armslist, and being a visual kind of guy, -really like the looks - was wondering if anyone could offer insights (other than at some point in time purchasing a can) that a suppressor model offers over a standard barrel.

Or visa/versa

Went ahead and Googled a few terms relative to suppressors and barrels. The best answer I could find was:

"They are the most fun you can have with your clothes on ;D"

Going to put this to bed for a while. If I can't find anything online in the next week or so, I've decided I will either order the standard black one - 91153 - from my LGS or "bleep the torpedoes" and order one from CJW.
