I really had plans on buying a CZ83 when I went to the gun show, but could not find any.
I did spot this little Bersa, and for around $250 I couldn't pass it up.

The Bersa 380 is a phenomenal PPK clone. In my opinion, it is one of the best bargains in firearms for the money. You did well for a nickel finish.

These are reliable pistols, so long as you don't shoot a bunch of suspect ammunition through them. Avoid ammunition marked +P; there is no recognized SAAMI +P standard for .380 ACP. The only problems that I have known of with the Bersas can be traced to using hot loads, usually Cor-Bon. Blowback pistols are designed to use nominal spec. ammo.

The Bersa .380's that I have seen on our Range seem to be very nice pistols. Well made and accurate.

I pretty much love any PPK clone or blowback deriviative, be it a CZ83, Bersa Thunder, or Sig 232.
I have to admit there's a bit of James Bond nastalga with the PPK itself. Its almost like a fine piece of jewelery that is very classy.

That Bersa would look beautiful with some thin checkered wooden grips. It might even shoot better for you too (try that on the wife). I would recommend these pistols over the Makarovs if .380 was as cheap as 9x18M. Like many of these pistols, the Bersas are more accurate than the sights allow for many shooters.

They are exceedingly accurate.

Good suggestions, thanks guys.
Do you think anyone makes after market grips for these? I have not seen any so far, and I've been looking
.
So far I have just been shooting WWB through it. No problems.
It is just a tad thinner than my RAMI and the Uncle Mike's Sidekick Pro #8901-1 fits it perfect.
I carry the RAMI most of the time, but have fun taking the Bersa from time to time.

Its fun to alternate between different weapons for CCW Bob, I do it all the time, although you have far more options weather wise as far as clothing than I do in Florida, but I try anyway. LOL
