This is a fluke, I know, but it shows what is possible at least once in a bullseye shooter's lifetime. This is as good to me as the 100-10x timed fire target with the Kadet from a few years ago. I haven't gotten close to that since. Several 100's, but not as many x's.
There was a 10-15 mph wind from the right, so I held high right, and it worked. But, more importantly, I didn't jerk any shots. 10 good trigger pulls in a row. I am getting very comfortable with the 97B"E" again. That is two practice sessions this week, so maybe I can shoot the match on Saturday a little better than last month. I'm whipped, however.

(50 yards, standing, single hand, 10 shots in 10 minutes, but I did them all in less than 2 minutes.)
When we have some wind, I relax. It helps. For that reason, I like windy practice days and windy match days. Gun is phenomenal. Shooter needs more practice and fewer work hours.

Wow, Joe. Whipped or not, I bet you did cartwheels all the way home. ;D

Wow, that?s great!

Thanks, gentlemen. I only shot one more slow fire target on Thursday, and it was an 85. Best previous slow fire centerfire target was a 95, and that was nearly 2 years ago. Like I said, a fluke. But I'll take it.

Great shooting! Wouldn't that target be a 3x though? Looks like you scored it 98-5X

It's an x if you look at it at the .45 bullet diameter and not just the much smaller JHP hole cut in the target. If I had shot semi-wad-cutter bullets, the hole diameter would match the bullet diameter.

Outstanding!

Ahhh -- those little rays emanating from the holes! Dang, that is small target out there at 50 yards!

I was actually wondering the same. I just started keeping score after watching your videos Joe! Thanks for posting them. I suspect if I were to look over some of my past targets, I did a little better than I scored myself ;)

Here is the hole template over the hole. It is barely an x, but it is an x. I was thinking I guessed wrong at the range, but it looks like I was OK.

I love my 97B Cajonized. these guns are great shooters. Very nice shooting!

Fantastic.
Use a USPSA bullet gage. Plastic card with certified 9mm, 40 and 45 hole diameters to center over the hits and shows the inside cut. Mine were $2 for two?

Woohoo!
CZ97; stellar choice.
Singlehandedly; I 'spect you've been practicing...
Frame that sucker and hang it on the wall (and be thankful)!

Thanks, gentlemen. The 97B"E" is a great pistol, especially for those of us who have large hands and long fingers and love the weight and feel of an all steel super accurate pistol.
I just wish I could shoot it more often. I may have to retire to do that. :) :)
