Title: Converting Bren Trigger to Single Stage

I was looking at the Bren trigger trying to figure out if there is a way to convert it to a single stage. It already has a good stock trigger but I work better with a single stage. It seems like the disconnector presses against the back of the hammer as you pull the trigger and its spring creates the first stage. I tried holding the disconnector back as I pulled the trigger but the spring made all of the take up feel like the first stage which wouldn't really be a benefit.

So I guess my question would be is there any feasible way to modify the disconnector or spring to eliminate the first stage and still have a reliable disconnector?

I don't know, to be honest, but one place to call might be CZ themselves, since I don't know anyone doing custom internals work.

Great way to void your warranty....just shot the stupid thing...wear it in...and smooth out the trigger a bit more.
