I am trying to definitely ID a cz model 27 in my possession. On the top of the slide is CESKA ZBROJOVKA ASv PRAZE 109812
SERIAL # ON BARREL 109812
On left side frame cz symbol then serial # 109812
on left side of slide near rear stamp T then cz 30
on right side of frame left to right cz J standing lion (I think) 31
I have watched video of disassembly which indicates that you must rotate barrel 180 degrees to remove from slide
but not in my case. Locking piece that rides on top of barrel does not have multiple grooves but has one diagonal groove that engages lug on the barrel
I have checked barrel to make sure it is 380.
any comments or info. Grip is made of dark wood and appears to be original.

Does it say "Pistole Modell 27" on the left hand side of the slide?
The 27 is chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP).
The diagonal grove and it being in .380 sounds like you have a CZ 24.
The T cz 30 means that it was in a Signal Battalion. The 30 either being the year or the number of the weapon--most likely the year
The J 31 means that it was in a Cavalry regiment and possibly the next year 1931.

Then you, sir, are the proud owner of a CZ 24!

That is a lot like the story with my vz24 - shop said it was a .32 (and called it a model 31), but it didn't disassemble the "right" way and a .32ACP/7.65 Browning snap cap falls too deep into the chamber.

most likely you have a cz 24. However, there were very few cz 27's in .380. I had magazines for them, but never have seen one for sale. If you do have one of the few cz 27, it is worth quite a bit.
