Mine and a customers arrived yesterday ,my Q1s pistol will arrive shortly. I saw these at shot show and had to have them. Just ordered the pistol brace adapter and five 30 round mags. now I am leaving for the range for a test fire session. When i get back I will order a brace either the Tailhook II or the new SBA3 brace I have have them both on other guns and like both so I just have to choose one. When I have it set up the way I want I will post some photos. I will check back today and let you now how it shoots. Brian / EFR

Compared to my CZ Scorpian ,the Grand Power has the same safety issue for right handed shooters the safety touches your hand and can be annoying while shooting, granted more felt recoil today because I was just extending it like a handgun and firing from a standing position. However we had no trouble hitting a pistol target at 25 yards. This should shoot just fine with a brace installed. I put 100 round through it this morning with zero failures. The flip up sights are actually quite useful and accurate. I will be running some sort of red dot on this with brace. I already got confirmation on my brace adapter and 30 round mags so they are on the way. So after lunch I will order a pistol brace. Overall a lot more metal on this compared to the CZ with more plastic, but I like both.

So Tuesday morning I order 5 Stribog 30 rounders and the brace adapter , they arrived last night , slight screw up by the warehouse they sent me 5 Bersa 380 mags . Brace adapter is already mounted, I will head over to Sarco and get the correct ar buffer tube ,so I should have a brace on it before noon. I have both the tailhook mod II and the SBA3 on two other shop projects that are sitting here waiting for some cerakote so i will take the braces off and see what looks best on this one. Both braces are great function wise so really this will come down to how I like the look. Then I will order another brace. I should have the 30 rounders by tomorrow night so we shoiuld be able to shoot it again this weekend and take some photos. Only issue that I have run into so far is that I don't have a mag loader that fits these mags so we have to load by hand.
-
They making you send back those Bersa mags?
-
no they sent out the Stribog mags with a package envelope with label to take care of their mistake.
-
The 30 rounders arrived yesterday along with the return envelope for the 380 mags that they sent me. I also ordered an a Fortis muzzle brake so now this project will be complete. I am thinking that A suppressor would really finish this off nice, but that will require some paper work and time. we will load all the mags do some shooting and take some photos to post.

Thanks Brian and I am very interested to see your report on the Q1S when you get a chance to write one. I am watching and looking at prices as we speak for them. Your review will be a huge help on if and when I get one. I'm trying to talk myself out of selling 2 CZP10's I have no love for to pay for it and some ammo. I have the cash set aside and waffle between selling off the P10's because I just don't like them. Anyway I do look forward to hearing about the Q1S

Just a quick update ,my Q1S has shipped, should get before the week is out. I will have my son take some photos of the Stribog, Q100, q1S and will get them posted as soon as possible, Next it will be off to the range to run at least 300 rounds through it.
-
Q1S is here will take photos tonight. I can say trigger pull is 4.10 lbs out of the box, my Q100 was 3.86 lbs out of the box. The barrel is not a chromed or polished look like the rest of my Grand Powers, It has a black finish. Not a deal breaker just different. A range trip is in the very near future.

I wonder if they'll import the Stribog A3? That gun looks very interesting.

Very very Nice!!! 8) :)

I took the Stribog completely apart yesterday and started the camo process. One thing that I learned is that the safety is a two piece design that snaps together and holds that trigger pack assembly in place. It appears that Grand power has made this saftey in a manner that does not allow it to be disassembled. I ordered a two piece safety and two of the retaining clips that hold the take pins in. The clips could easily be lost when taking this gun apart if one is not careful. however all parts are on back order. That won't affect this because I just want some parts for stock, I must leave now and get back on the camo process. I will have it finished this weekend and take some photos on Monday.

The camo is in the final 30 minutes of baking , looks quite sharp , I will put it together tomorrow for photos, main color is a custom medium dark gray metallic that I made this morning, some small parts are armor black with the reptile strips in desert tan with a scale pattern dusted in with sniper green. reptile stripes are out lined with graphite black. then it's back to the range with it.

Yeah I know a picture is a thousand words, but I suck at tech , have smart phone and don't know how to use it , barely know how to use a computer, my son is trying to bring me out of the dark ages. He takes the photos, processes them and then now he has taught me how to upload the to our website which hosts them. From there I add them to my posts. I am and older guy 58 and anti tech. Photos soon as my son takes them processes them. Right now I am doing a four color ACU camo on an AR and then I will reassemble the Stribog. After I finish the AR in ACU I have a three or 4 color ABU camo job on another AR. Today my son should be giving me the photos on two others that I finished on Tuesday a Vietnam Tiger stripe job on a AR pistol and an Air brush camo on a Glock 9mm AR platform, you will see those first in another thread in this section this week. Sorry you will half to wait a little bit. Now back to work for me.

Thanks for your contribution.
I remember years ago seeing a Canik Shark FC55 that you did way before I got into CZ's. I bookmarked your website so I could go back and look at it.
I still look for used Shark FC's on Gunbroker so I can modify them.

Man, that looks amazing! I've dealt with bed bugs while traveling, not fun!!
-
I had one of those kind of months last month ,first we lost our freezer and about $500.00 worth of food, then the dryer failed ,and when we were having the new dryer brought in we noticed the sewer pipe -cast iron had rotted out and was leaking on the basement floor behind the washer and dryer, fixed that ,then started having major leaks in my shop roof and then we went on Vaca only to arrive to bed bugs! This has been a good however with Zero problems. Knock on wood! Currently I am getting extra range time testing the new Archon Type B 's that I finally got in. Sept so far so good!

Wow amazing looking colors on that Stribog ....
