Title: CZ 83 Finish

   I am trying to figure out if the finish on my 1993 is painted. I have just a couple of minor scratches to touch up. Any experience with this? I received this surplus gun in great condition.

Personally I'd leave it as is...if it is painted it will be hard to match the finish and repair attempt might be more noticeable. If it's blued, which I think most were...a quick dab of Birchwood super blue might do the trick.
