Holy cowski, topsy turvey world can be fun!

Of course, 3 judge panel, likely to by overturned by En Banc review...which wil leave it to the newly conservative Supreme Court. 8) This could be VERY interesting as the anti rights groups try desperately to keep gun cases OUT of SCOTUS.

And last week, a 3 judge panel in the 9th Circuit refused a repeal of a lower court ruling overturning the Prop 63 standard capacity magazine ban. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/07/daniel-zimmerman/ninth-circuit-upholds-injunction-against-california-high-capacity-magazine-ban/ (http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/07/daniel-zimmerman/ninth-circuit-upholds-injunction-against-california-high-capacity-magazine-ban/)
Again, the ruling will probably be overturned en banc. Have any of the other circuit courts already overturned open carry or magazine capacity limitations? When the 9th backtracks on these, having at least one other circuit in conflict should speed up the process for Supreme Court review.

More and more liberals are buying guns today and not because they are afraid of criminals. Think about that one for a bit. I'm not surprised the 9th circus is changing it's viewpoint at all.
-
Are they afraid of what would happen to all state laws if SCOTUS gets to hear the case instead of them? That would be similar to when DC decided not to fight it's CCW permit loss, because it could have been used to overturn laws all over the country. Lose local to save big, but Cali isn't a small local loss. This really could have some potential in the future, IF Heller and MacDonald get used right for a change.

Think about that one for a bit.
I have, and I don't consider that a bad thing at all ;)

On the surface it may appear to not be a bad thing and the 2A covers EVERYONE and I take shall not be infringed to mean just that. The underlying cause for the shift is another matter.
A few months back I overheard a women in one of my favorite gun shops talking to the counter man about her first ever firearms purchase. She said I despise guns and don't think we really need them but the are to many Trump supporters in my neighborhood.
This is a glaring example as though we need another one as to how far apart we have become as a society that a persons reason for exercising a constitutional right is brought about by political discourse with one's own people.
This is the USA not the 3rd world for gods sake.

Hmm. What if, a few years ago, I had said I despise guns and don't think we really need them, but the are too many Obama supporters in my neighborhood?
This is the USA not the 3rd world for gods sake.
There are elements of society agitating to have it otherwise. I have been trying, and failing, to understand that :(

Its globalism man... its literally that simple. international corporations make their most profit in world with no borders and the free flow of people. the entire main stream media apparatus is just one piece in a giant machine which is pushing for a one world global system of government.
This will take a massive amount of censorship, because its not the natural state of man to desire to live in a system like that.
ask yourself why the heads of twitter/facebook/instagram/etc all share the EXACT same political viewpoints

Stay focused on the firearms aspect - we don't want to drift too far off from this sub-forum's purpose.

Gotcha lol. Sorry 8)

Too bad the shop didn't exercise its discretion to void the sale. Her reasoning sounds offensive, not defensive.
