Hey there! I am looking to put together a shopping list to finally upgrade the heck out of my P01, but I had some questions since I already have the Thick Trigger and the Competition Hammer.
Will I be able to use the SRS + T2 disconnector with the Thick trigger, or do I *have* to use the combat trigger to take advantage of the short reset?
If the Thick Trigger prevents me from taking advantage of the short reset, are there any other mods that would be good to do to the thing while still keeping it as a viable defensive firearm?

You should be able to use the "Thick" trigger with the SRS & T2 disconnector no problem.........the "issue" will be the trigger will come to rest a fair ways from were the short reset point will be and hence the trigger will have a pretty long take-up prior to engaging the sear & hammer interface on follow-up trigger pulls......the 85C or 85C "Old Style" triggers allow for adjusting/removing that take-up/play between the trigger and sear & hammer interface, essentially "enhancing" the function of the short reset action.....now if you don't mind the trigger most likely traveling a fair distance from the reset point, then no worries.

An alternate option, one which I've come to like over even the Pro-Pkg is a RRK with Ultra Lite Kit combination.....you can keep your thick trigger without any issues and still get a really highly-functional carry piece.... 8)

Thanks! I'll look into that as well for sure!

Anyone else get 'trigger bite' with a P-01 after 4-5 mags?
Thanks,

Its a common occurrence with CZ's standard RECURVE trigger, regardless of what model you get. Some folks don't mind them, its the first thing I swap out on all my CZ's ad well as one's I do for others.....so to answer your question, YES! ;)

Yeah, the recurve trigger is rubbish. I ended up going back to the Combat Trigger. I've put many mags through it in one sitting with no ill effects - After I replace the recurve.
I got the pro package and installed it. Should I be getting extra trigger travel forward after the SA reset? Is that just inherent to CZs or is there some secret adjustment I didn't see? The parts are all drop ins, and the trigger screws don't seem to affect the SA reset, and I'm still left with takeup before the SA wall. If that's just part of the gun, that's fine, but I want to be sure I didn't mess something up, though it seemed pretty straightforward.
Everything about it feels much better except that I still feel a decent amount of takeup, about 4.5mm. But it's my understanding that's not controlled by the adjustment screws, since they sit too far away from the frame in SA.
