Title: Picked up a Safe Queen/Estate sale Orginall CZ-75 Pistol over Christmas.
Post by: Hobe Sound CZ on January 21, 2019, 07:09:14 PM
I originally bought an original CZ-75 Pistol with only 1 Magazine, back in 1987, at the Ft. Pierce, Gun Show.  I sold it a Year later, and have regretted it every since.  During the Christmas Holidays, I lucked out on 2 Safe Queens.  1. a 1989  Walther P.88 Pistol, and 2.  This  Estate Sale I was able to get off www.gunbroker.com   I look forward to Firing it very soon.    The Words:  too Valuable to Fire,  are unknown to me.   I am trying to find the Year it was Made.   Unlike the first one I had, this one was not Imported by Brno.  This one  is Imported by:  Bauska, in Kalispell,  Montana.  The Serial No:  is a high one, 115059.  In the little Oval behind the Ejection Port, and just over the Extractor is a Proof mark,  and the  number 84, is this the Year of MFG?  1984.   Just joined today.   I am hoping I can find out my answer here, and the CZUSA Website did not know anything.   Hope someone can tell me.   Paul in Hobe Sound, Fla.

As eastman stated, it's an '84 manufacture and if it's the one I'm thinking of it has curved upswept trigger guard...very nice!! One thing to check is the finish...many of that period imported by Bauska have the black enamel paint which is not as durable as other finishes.

[img]Great that is 1984 on there!   Yes I have that neat Russian Flat Black Baked on AKM  Finish.  Looks better than mere Blueing or Pauperizing Can I post Photos here from my Computer? I am not  a Photobucket person nor will I ever be.   You should not have to post something from outside of your Computer.   Photos Coming.  Paul in Hobe Sound, Fla. .

It?s a neat looking period finish but, as Blackwatch has already cautioned, it is a fragile finish that can easily chip or flake. That finish became the standard in 1984, replacing a nice blued one. If you have a tablet or mobile phone, the Tapatalk app is the easiest method of posting photos directly from the device?s photo library on to a forum post. Congrats on the 1984 with its curvy, upswept trigger guard.

What about posting from your Computer.  I will never have a Cellphone.  I have Windows 7 Pro.  All my Photos are in my Photos of my Computer.  You should not have to always use Photobucket, which I never have, or will.

I provided you a link in this thread which provides instructions how to post from a computer using IMGUR (thanks s0nspark)...if that doesn't meet your needs then I don't know what other options could exist.
