Title: Anybody have a FDE P10C with a red HBi trigger
Post by: Msc7b2 on April 10, 2019, 01:27:21 AM
Long time lurker, finally made an account.

Recently got a P10C in fde and was wondering what the red color hbi trigger looks like on the fde model.  Does anyone have a picture?

I want red to match my other firearms but if it looks goofy with the fde, might just get black instead.

Thanks!  I love this gun!

I don?t have red but do have the orange one.  This was a first gen HBI trigger that I filed the fangs off of, so it?s been uglified.

Hey, I'm from Indy and MY name is Tim.  ;D  Anyway, I would have filed that trigger down too. I bet it's a sweet trigger now. I may experiment with trigger(s) on my S.

You have an S?  Where in the world were you able to find that in Indy.  My normal source has been telling me that they are unavailable yet.

I ordered it from Gun Broker. Paid too much for it ($600.00). But, I have one. lol Can't even find them on GunBroker now. Unreal. Dealers were all supposed to have there shelves stocked by now from what I was told. Not sure what the problem is. Starting to think 600 bucks wasn't such a bad deal. lol Anyway, I really love this pistol. Perfect size for me. Trigger is awesome as well. I also wanted a double stack. I just don't need a single stack. I can pocket carry this handgun no problem. I'm 6' 3" 270 though.  ;)
Hang in there, surely they will be available sooner than later. CZ needs to get the whips out, Jeez.

Sounds good.  Hopefully they become more common this summer.

How about now? (Switched back to PhotoBucket. So tired of Google's horrible support)

That?s a good looking gun.  I have to keep my eyes open for one when they eventually hit LGS shelves

Ouch!  That looks like you might want to hold off on shooting for a while.  I had rotator cuff surgery last July and switched to shooting lefty until October.  I got pretty good shooting lefty but have been letting those skills decline again.

Well, it's my left wrist, and I'm right handed, so, I COULD go and practice one handed. If takes longer than anticipated to heal, I'll do just that. I have become more patient with age. Not EVERYTHING about growing old is bad. lol Most things are.  ???

Well, safe to say, it looks way better in person. Got the 3lb spring installed.  Man it feels good!

Do you have a problem with unintentional double taps with the 3 lb. spring?

I haven't been to the range yet with this trigger.  But I can see that possibly happening.  The reset felt so quick and it surprised me how smooth the trigger pull was with the HBI compared to the already great stock trigger

Well, I put a 3 lb. on my Glock and had to go back to a 4 lb. because I kept getting unintentional double taps. Maybe over time I could have gotten used to it.
