So what is a good stock adapter for an ACR stock?
The lucky Irishman seem to be no longer made.
-
They're out at present (https://www.mississippiautoarms.com/cz-805-bren-adapter-for-magpul-acr-stock-aluminum-no). I e-mailed 'em a couple of months back - they say they SHOULD Have some more in before Christmas... :-\
-
I emailed him a few months back as well and he didn't seem to be too interested in running them again. He said not enough demand vs. the minimum order qty to the machine shop he works with. Maybe he's seen enough demand since then.
-
I see 'em listed on Armslist (in various cities around the country) and Gunbroker occasionally... that might be your next best bets.
-
I love my Mississippi Arms setup. May wanna check with them. Carry my rifle daily and it’s a solid setup.
-
NOT mine (I'm in Pittsburgh!), but if you don't buy it, I MIGHT...

So he's asking $289 for the adapter only which I thought was high. Then went to Mississippi Arms site to find their version (Sandline) which sold for $99 is also out of stock. So neither the Lucky Irishman version or MAA version are available now.

LOOKS like the stock and adaptor. If the stock was black, I'd be all over it!
-
Dan Haga Designs has the ACR stock adapter.

From his ad. "Adapter is $289 and the stock is another $179, for a total of $468 combined."

And JUST below that he says, "I'll let it go for $350 (shipped to conus) ."
ALWAYS read the fine print. ;)

Exactly, my point was it is not both for $289.
-
The Mississippi Arms is $289 for both. That’s what I paid.

That'd BE a good deal... IF it were in stock... :-\

I have seen the Dan Haga adapter, but no pictures of the 805 S1. What gives?

Lucky Irishman decided to do another run of the Bren 805 ACR adapters.
https://www.facebook.com/Lucky-Irishman-Firearms-1436903489961391/
It is supposed to be the last run before offering the adapter for the Bren 2. I thought about it, and said to my self Merry Christmas. I ordered one.

Thanks for the update. Just ordered one as well.

Merry Christmas to me!
I ordered my ACR stock adapter from the Lucky Irishman and my Bushmaster ACR stock from Dan Haga.
I never did like the look of the factory stock on my Bren 805.
:)

FYI
I contacted Lucky Irishman. He mentioned that the adapters are being anodized and should be completed this week. Shipping will probably happen earlier next week.

Thanks for the update. I was curious as to why mine hadn’t shipped yet.
-
I placed my order on 12-14-2019. I received an email stating it was shipped on 12-18-2019 so I should get it some time this week, probably after Christmas.
When I placed my order, the website showed 9 in stock. I checked the website a minute ago and the website now shows 3 in stock. Who knows if another batch will be made after this allotment is sold out.
:)

Please track your tracking number. If it says pre-transit, it means that the shipping label was created and the USPS has yet to receive the package. My tracking number was received on the 13th. Hopefully it will be out tomorrow or Friday.
As of today, there is only one adapter left in stock.

👍 Mine says the 13th as well. I’ve got everything I need but this piece to make the conversion and I’m getting antsy :D

so...which adapter is best
lucky Irishman, dan's, or mississippi auto's?
i finally found a folding acr stock and my 805 needs it
-
Depends. Do you want to pay extra for aluminum or 3D printed nylon? For me the best was Lucky Irishman because he had the adapters in stock. The other two haven't had them listed as in stock for quite a while.

-

hopefully this works
-
As far as the screws, those are to reinstall the sling loop from the ACR stock.

1- Drive out the roll pin from the ACR stock to separate the ACR rifle interface and the stock frame.
2 align hing of the Bren/ACR adaptor with the ACR stock frame. And drive the roll pin back.
3 There are two components of the Bren 805 stock. Part #29 will be reused. The 805 stock frame is separated by pushing the disassembly button and push the stock up
4 install the acr stock by sliding it down

Have not witnessed any shaving with my Mississippi Auto adapter. Works perfectly for me.
