Title: verdict on new 557?
Post by: clockworkgator on December 14, 2019, 09:48:11 PM
I'm on the fence with the 557 American (walnut) in 6.5cm. Hard to find reviews online. I don't mind it not being a mauser feed... but have never owned a CZ and don't know much about quality control, etc?

It's hard to find a 6.5cm in walnut that isn't full of plastic... is this gun worth $700?

Thanks!

Old post but I bought the 557 Varmint in.308 about a year ago. I am very happy with it.  I own a few 527s and I think  the fit and finish is as good as they are. People have asked me if it is a custom built gun. It shoots very well.
