Can anyone who has a CZ Bren 2s Pistol. Please tell me what the finish is or looks like on their barrel assembly.

Itll likely be a dark grayish color

I've got a Bren 2S. My barrel is shiny black nitride on the outside. Very nice durable coating! Very hard. Nearly unscratchable. The gas block is dark grey- phosphated I think.

I'm very pleased with it.

Mine has a nice durable coating as well but it's the 762 with the 9" barrel so not to much is hanging out past the handguard but is nicely coated for sure.
