Title: muzzle brake
Post by: Dinola on November 15, 2020, 04:44:49 PM
Hi.. new to the forum and this particular rifle, the 457 in an At One stock.  Honestly , while I knew they were fun (have a 10-22)  I just didn't realize that 22's could be so very accurate.
At any rate, I've purchased a few things from DIP.. fine service but their muzzle brake is out of stock for a bit and this rifle really does BEG for something at the end.  For me a brake seems totally unnecessary but I'm not going for a silencer and dont know what else to put there for aesthetics..
Suggestions?  I cant find anything in a general google search, i'm not sure if some generic thing is gonna work.
Thanks for any guidance.

Thank you !  but wait wait..
so.. what you are saying is that anything that is 1/2 x 28 and has a bigger bore than .22 will be ok?
Does some part of this thing need to match the barrel outside diameter?

I really dont know anything about this stuff --  I come from an era where the only people screwing things on the end of a gun was the Man From UNCLE...  and a couple of mafia guys.
Thanks again!

As long as the threads match then yes.
As for the diameter matching, that is up to you.
