I guess the 10mm versions could be dialed down to a .40sw load for Limited 10. I am a recovering 1911 user. My only salvation are the ergo's, pointability and accuracy of a CZ 75/85. I know theyre only single stackers right ?.
Thanks,
Jon

I'm not Angus, but EAA makes a pretty good 10mm that is based on the CZ 75 model. Slightly bigger than the 75, and smaller than the 97B.

"Angus, Will you, Adam and Matt"
What about Todd? Todd shot 1911s (2011s) in 2004; I am not aware of any of the other team members having ever shot 1911s besides maybe Angus way back when (Matt & Adam were Glock guys; I don't think they could shoot 1911s while Todd has demonstrated a mastery of it).
However, this brings up the possibiliy of next year's 1911 Single Stack Classic; that match brings out all the household names in pistol shooting regardless of who they are sponsored by: Phil Strader, Dave Sevigny, and that guy Leatham who just keeps shooting well year after; long after his contemporaries have retired. His main gun has always been the 1911.
At the classic, you can shoot any gun you want as long as its a 1911, its single stack, it has a 5" bushing barrel & is chambered in .45 with open sights.
Why not put the Wesson 1911's on the leaderboard next year guys? I am glad you brought this up & I hope it gets the team thinking about it early.
Regards,
D.C. Johnson

Well there is definitly a possibility. But this year I think with the WS so close most US us will probably re shoot the second nationals in L10 either 40 or minor. I know thats what I intend to do just for practice. I don't stand a cats chance against the major guns but who know, top 16 is likely.
Next year is a different story all bets are off. Correct we have the Single stack and I will go. Also handgunner is back on. Watch this space for new Dan Wesson products.
