i bought a cz 25 auto here in california. It was made in 1953. What I was wondering is what is the model of this weapon. Someone told me it was called the Duo but it is not marked like on the newer models. Please let me know. I also wanted to know if CZ still sells these weapons or can I still get mags and other syuff for it.
Thank you

I found parts listed at www.e-gunparts.com/produc...00zDUO&MC= (http://www.e-gunparts.com/products.asp?chrMasterModel=1300zDUO&MC=) where they show a 6 round mag for $27.88, and a 7 round they are out of stock on. Hit the guns shows for parts like this. CZ quit making the DUA for the US market 1968- that wonderful GCA68 killed all the pocket autos.

Thank you very much I appreciate it. My wife loves the weapon for concealed carry. Another great addition to our cz collection.

Look like this?

I suggest the CZ-45 (.25 ACP) is a better CCW choice....if you must have that caliber....but one of the new compacts 9s are better yet.

It kinda looks like that one but the one that I have does not have a safety on it like the pic you showed me. Maybe it is because ours is a different model? Thank you for all of the help.

Sounds like a CZ45 to me. Wrap-around plastic grip? Some of these have a saftey (right above the trigger) and some don't.

The one with the safety is the model 1936, and they are quite rare. The CZ45 is still being made for the rest of the world, I believe-I saw one in a gunstore in the Philippines last year.
