Alright, so I shot two or so of my reloads (was getting nosedives, I need to polish the feedramp) today and my CZ spits this out at me.

That top piece, on the slide? It's not on my 75B, hence I have no idea what it is.
So can anyone tell me how to put this thing back on? I've got a spring and a detent, or something, that came out with it.

Isn't that the cartridge loaded indicator? ???
And don't ask me on how to fix it, I'm still waiting on my 97B. >:(
-
Not sure. The slide will occasionaly lock and it takes a LOT of force to push it back.
-
The loaded chamber indicator is retained by a screw. If the screw backs out the unit launches. Check your parts diagram in the manual to make sure what you need and call CZ USA. They will likely send you the parts asap.
Do a search on this forum and you'll find at least one post with the problem and solution.
This reminds me to check that part on my 97.

I bought mine on this forum and the previous owner had the same issue and fix. Good link Jack.
Thanks

Alright. So I am missing the screw...
Do I need this thing to fire my CZ?
-
Nevermind...

I fixed it. Didn't know I still had the little screw.
Thanks for the help guys!

I'm glad you found it...mid strength loctite was used on mine to keep it from happening, but I'm sure you thought of that.
Good Shooting...enjoy your 97!

Loctite is a good solution for anything that rocks, rattles, or rolls.
