Instead of just saying many parts... Maybe actually update with what they have to offer.....

Would agree with comment to sticky. Happy to moderate it.

With regards to the "what" they offer, I thought about that for a minute and started to do that but many of the companies are coming up with new stuff or changing things, etc. This would make a simple post less manageable and possibly misrepresentative of what is offered. I am not an advertiser nor do I have anything to do with any of the companies.

I thought to play it safe and share links to the sites and let folks go take a look since we are all looking and can share independent findings, etc. I had not seen the link or site that techspec6 posted. I'm sure there are more.

only Zhukov stock with no adapter necessary, making it the shortest and most OEM like.

I wouldn't bother with descriptions.  The offerings change every few days and would be a nightmare to maintain accurately.  I've made a bookmark in a folder in chrome of each of these.  I can right click and select to open all of them in tabs at once.  I do this each day and check all the aftermarket sites easily.  With that, I know better what each vendor is offering better than any description could do.

I use the savvy sniper sling.  They're pricey but you can get them configured in any way imaginable.

I chose this sling at a local shop cause I could try it out and I liked it, but it had issues when i got home. I practiced clearing my house with the sling/scorpion and noticed that if barely touched the plastic buckles, the popped. I almost dropped my gun..... >:(        I took it back and they would not forgo the restock fee, because the claimed fee was just theft and they just wanted 10% back on another claim of credit card fees.  :o BS. You get what you pay for.
https://www.riflegear.com/p-2720-si-s3-silent-strategic-system-sling-with-kevlar-loop.aspx

Got home all depressed and started looking again and found that most slings do not work on our gun due to attachment type. I also found that slings with the extra long quick pull, tie down strap are really handy for securing the scorpion to gain extra stability. This website had the best version I liked. The video was a good sell as well. Thickness of the shoulder/neck touching areas is also key for comfort. This system just made more sense. Color choice is nice option for the picky shopper in me. It was not cheap......but I want something I can trust. Learned my lesson and am not complaining one bit.

http://www.urbanertslings.com/cz-scorpion-evo3-s1-urban-sentry-hybrid-sling-kit/

When I get it in, I will put pictures up.

On another topic, I got this pack to store/carry my Scorpion.
http://www.511tactical.com/select-carry-sling-pack.html?color=79438
Do we loose our ability to concealed carry if is an SBR? Kind of like the option when bike riding. Blue and asphalt look less telling.
This bag lead to a new issue...the charging handle. I want the one from HBindustries, but I am concerned the part will grind into the pack or me. It really needs to be spring folded like the Kriss Vector. This would solve the issue in stream lining the gun flat. The MP-5 slap is just for looks and sound to me. Ease of use and not getting it hung on something are real goals to sought. (Hint-Hint >_> HBIndustries)

https://www.barneyspolicesupplies.com/5_11-tactical/511-select-carry-sling-bag-58603-15051

I agree - this needs to be a sticky.

If we are adding people that can re-thread barrels, the folk at http://www.class3machining.com (http://www.class3machining.com) can do it. If you send just barrel and fixture it's $65 on the Evo.

As soon as I can figure out how to get my barrel off, mine will be on the way to him. (yes, I've read everything I can find, but I still can't find a wrench or pliers that will fit without messing up the nut)

Take care,
Bob S.

Does anyone know of any companies that make molle pouches for our gun. I have reached out to First Spear to ask their pouches fit. I know the MP7 mag is thinner than us but the HK/mp5 should work. I just want pouches with NO velcro. Just love that stupid sound they make.  ::)

I prefer this one but have yet to order them. They make one, two, and 3 versions. I will probably order these.

Not bad, but velcro is just nuub to me. Hell, magnets would be better......

Also, Walmart had a miss-priced 200 round box of ammo from winchester (FMJ) for $25.37. Keep a look out on their ammo as the staff don't know pricing. Federal now sell 50-100 round boxes for .20-.25 less than winchester.

Ace Case 10/22 pouches work.  Hold 4 mags, single sided.  They make a couple different 9mm subgun bandoliers too that hold 6-8 mags, pouches both sides.

Savvy sniper.  Probably the best made sling I own.  A 1" sling so great for carbines and subguns, has bungee too.  HK clip version is great for AKs and Evo as well.... 2 to 1 point is standard component.  Main thing about 1" vs magpul's wider is much more functional over body armor and the sling itself is lighter as well keeping weapon weight light...

Some of the Zhukov stocks attach to the rear of the buffer tube back plates.  Side Project manufactured their own proprietary plate so it slides directly on the rear of the gun itself.  Compare some of the other side folder Zhukov stocks and you'll understand.  The SideProject one is a shorter and direct attachment.

The hinge mechanism is part of the backplate.  They didn't just take an off the shelf Zhukov stock and attach it to an adapter that in turn attaches to the gun.  They have produced a hinge backplate so an adapter is not needed.  Google "Scorpion Zhukov Stock" and look down the results till you find one that's not from SideProject and you'll see the difference in the comparison of the images.

I cannot elaborate further without putting down someone's product so I'll leave it at that.

Found something interesting.
Have any of you heard of Fortis? They have an angled grip made of aluminum. I believe this passes muster for the ATF.
It's called the Shift, short angled grip. I like it better than the magpul version.

Maybe this link works better...   http://fortismfg.com/ar15-fortis-!@##ft-vertical-grip (http://fortismfg.com/ar15-fortis-!@##ft-vertical-grip)

Not my style, but it's an option.

[UPDATE] It seems they have a spelling error in their link - I'm sure they meant to put "/ar15-fortis-shift-vertical-grip"  but they made "shift" a bad word instead.   ???

You can find it from their front page.

This is the one he was referring to:

http://tinyurl.com/hbkfo93 (http://tinyurl.com/hbkfo93)

The vertical grip will get you in trouble if you don't have it licensed as an SBR.  The short angled grip on the other hand can be used with the pistol.

So is their backplate not an adapter? I'm not busting your chops, I'm genuinely ignorant. I didn't know that stock existed until this thread. Haha.

Jason

Ahh. Now I get it. Thanks.

Do you know if it still retains the Magpul quick release attachment point on the hinge?

No idea.  I will probably be buying the original CZ stock once my form 1 is approved.

I wonder if anyone sells all the rest of the parts you'd need to be 922r compliant if you go with the Magpul stock. Hmm.

I'd prefer the factor stock as well, I'm just worried it won't be available for some reason.

It looks like they didn't pay a bill on time - happens a lot with small businesses.

If you are looking for their stock/adapter setup - these folks have them in stock...

I've only looked at the first couple of posts and haven't read through everything.  So not sure if this has been posted

http://ewkarms.com/zen8/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69&products_id=245 (http://ewkarms.com/zen8/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69&products_id=245)

They're taking preorders now for a super deep impact socket to take the handguard off of the carbine.  Something I emailed cz custom about, but sadly they showed no interest in developing this.  Somehow I fount this on the www.

Awesome forum by the way. I've learned a lot from reading things shared here.  A big Thank You to this small community.

Now that I think of it, here's another link

http://talongungrips.com/grips/cz/scorpion.html (http://talongungrips.com/grips/cz/scorpion.html)

I've also spoken with Don at traction grips and here's what he had to say:

Quote
I'll look in to designing something.  I haven't had one come through the shop to even look at them close enough to see what can be done.  I'll add it to my list of things to acquire.  It will give me a chance to compare one to the Zenith MP5 clones I received a week or so ago.  I'm always in the market for another suppressor host.

Thanks,
Don Myers

Traction grips are on par (if not better) with talon grips (in my experience), but offered at a more affordable cost

Almost forgot, EWK also makes a thread adapter,

So it looks like CZ custom is now making a super deep socket for the stock removal of the carbine. costs twice as much as the competition though. only took 2 months from my inquiry to do an about-face

http://czcustom.com/cz-scorpion-evo-3-s1/scorpion-evo-carbine-socket.html

And looks like HBI is now making a barrel nut tool for the pistol

https://hbindustries.net/store/shop/cz-scorpion-barrel-nut-tool/

At this time we do not have plan for a longer carbine version.

Pistol barrel without fluting. Perhaps when we do another run of EVO barrels, but that would be far off in the future.

Comment: I noticed you are selling the CZ Scorpion EVO Barrel Nut Socket for the barrel removal on the pistol version. Any plans to make one for the carbine? The nut is halfway down the handguard. It seems this tool would work if it had an extension sleeve long enough for the user to operate a wrench.

Also, I still haven't been updated on the status of a pistol length barrel without the fluting.

Thank you for your help in advance

Our apologies to everyone with this issue!!! We just saw this thread/topic this morning...

Problem: Our web developer is, well, a web developer and thinks that everybody needs to use crazy complex top secret passwords like he does.

Solution: We just changed the password credentials on our webstore, you can now make your password as simple or complex as you would like. Of course, we recommend that if you do create an account that you error on the side of a more complex password, but please know that in order to checkout through our webstore you do not need an account at all. That is totally optional (because we all have enough online vendor accounts and junk email coming in already).

If there are ever any issues with our webstore please do not hesitate to call or email us at sales@hbindustries.net and we will get you taken care of right away :-)

Hi Guys, I just found this thread.

I'm not trying to steal anyone away from one site too another but I have a pretty good list going. I really just want to see the market for the Scorpion Grow, because the more it does, the more companies will invest time and money into more accessories.

You can find it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/czscorpion/
Just click on the Accessories thread.

I update about every other day.

I also have a thread for in stock 922r kits, looks like quite a few have them available right now.

Actually it has but if I modify, it does not change date for some reason. It has slowed down though as I have not seen much new coming out from any other vendors.

The loader locates the magazine perfectly to make 20 rounds load effortlessly with just a push. The loader is simple and robust in design. Friday1

Just got an email today with the restock of Yeti Wurks grips back in stock. The FDE gen3 only differences are it?s a shade darker fde matching better to the Scorpion FDE and the capture but is chamfered.

They also have the black gen2.5 which doesn?t have the capture but chamfering.

I hope this isn't against the rules.  I can't figure out how to get out there as ebay and amazon have kicked me off.
