Title: cz p-10c
Post by: inletman on April 20, 2018, 11:22:00 PM
Read some material on this model, and how good it is. would appreciate any opinions from those owning or familiar with it. Looking on CZ site, they seem to be pretty proud of it.

Also, would it make a good carry gun?

Outstanding gun. Just about the same size as a Glock 19 but better trigger.

Better grip as well. The backstrap is agressive, but not hard to sand lightly. Great shooter!!!

Probably/arguably the best shooting polymer striker-fired pistol out. And I am a huge Glock 19X and VP9 fan, so I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible.

I used to think the mag release with a full mag was a problem. Then I thought: how often do you drop a full mag? "Never".

So to me it's a "feature" as opposed to a liability as many still believe.

Great ergonomics, superb stippling, flat shooting, very accurate...

I REALLY like this pistol and I believe the lead project engineer sought the aid of *GUNFIGHTERS* in its design.

Great handgun. If you like to tinker a bit, polishing and/or adding a few inexpensive upgrades make it even nicer. I've installed the hbi trigger and spring, CGW striker, Dawson FO front and blacked out rear sight, polished the mag release and bought a few more magazines.

The stock trigger bothered me, but I've never had an issue with the grip texture. I actually love it. :)

Got 600 rounds through mine and accuracy is getting better and better. When pointed down range it seems to automatically be on target. The slide stop and mag release are working great now too.

thanks for the info - a couple of things

1-Is it too large to use as a carry gun?

2- Where did you find yours....bought my Sp-01 from Gunbuyer. com, and if you don't mind price of the gun?

IMO it can be carried, but it's at the upper end of comfortable concealed carry size.

I found mine searching by part number on gun.deals, e.g.,

https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/91521

https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/91528

I got mine from Oak Hills in PA, but I bought a 1911 from gunbuyer.com.

I carry mine concealed with no difficulty under a baggy t-shirt in a High Noon Close Encounter IWB on a High Noon Rock Steady gun belt. I have also carried in a Bianchi M-100 IWB for a Glock 19. Proper holster and a good solid gun belt make the difference. As for size, I have also carried a P-09 concealed and my Phantom concealed - good rigs save the day. ;)

One of if not the best striker fire pistol I have ever owned. Outstanding trigger, very accurate and easy to carry.

I agree with the above statement, the best striker fired pistol I have ever owned or fired,  and very easy to carry!

I am a big fan of CZs. I've owned a lot of them for many years. So I am bound to like the P10C. I certainly agree that it is one of the best striker fire pistols. However, for me to get the P10C trigger to match my Walther PPQ trigger, I had to get a HBI trigger, install their 3 pound striker spring and polish some internals. The Walther trigger was excellent out of the box. Overall, I think my P10C and Walther PPQ are extremely similar. Both are great pistols. A person could not go wrong with either. BTW, I carry both of them when I'm not carrying my CZ PCR or P01.

Best regards.
