P07 reliability upgrades?

What are the recommended upgrades if all I want to do is make sure my P07 goes bang when needed? It seems there?s a consensus the trigger return spring needs a CGW replacement. Do I also need to swap the firing pin and retainment pen, or is it not necessary?

For what it?s worth, this P07 is my first venture into DA/SA, so it gets a lot of dry firing while I try to get used to it (have been a striker fan). I use a snap cap and o-ring.

I?m also trying to avoid messing with the trigger if possible. Wouldn?t mind a smoother DA, but that slowly seems to be smoothing out. And while the idea of a crisp SA from CGW is very tempting, I?m kinda liking the rolling break it has now; helps with accuracy on days that I have flinching issues.

Ultimate goal is to use/trust it for nightstand duty (and range practice). Thanks for any advice!

I am replacing the following on my P07 for carry/ HD duties. I am also following the ?Smoothing the action? instructions to polish the internals while I have it disassembled.
Trigger return spring
Hammer spring
D/A roller
Extended firing pin/spring
Retaining pin
Firing pin block spring

That's it - period.  For reliability that is ALL - anything else is nonsense in terms of reliability. 

SOME P07/09 guns need considerable smoothing, and some do not.  In that respect its a toss up.  Generally, the SA pulls are very good.  But, trigger upgrades are a different issue.

If you are careful and use an O-ring and snap cap, the slide replacement pin is not really needed.  The trigger spring is the one reliability upgrade that I always do.

The factory firing pin stop is a weak spot, and as I said, is fine with the precautions you mentioned.  If you do decide to replace it anyway, consider the Short Reset Kit from CGW.  It comes with a replacement pin, extended firing pin and parts to shorten the reset considerably.  Those will not impact the reliability, but could impact your use of the pistol in a positive way.

The only upgrade I plan on doing in the near future are night sights.
Right now I?m satisfied with the trigger.

Thanks all, leaning towards just the spring for now.

Just curious, if I did go with the short reset kit, what changed should I expect to the trigger besides the reset? I?ve read that it smooths it out, but would I retain the rolling break (which I counterintuitively find favorable) or would it get crisper?
