Lok grips for Rami
« on: October 18, 2018, 06:36:02 PM »
Just got an email from Lok. They've come out with four different grips for Rami and Rami BD. I've emailed them and asked them to rate them in order of aggressiveness.

When the knock on the door said “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms,” naturally I thought it was a delivery…

No mini RAMI palm swell bogies? ;D  Those cross cuts look nice.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Yeah, I've been waiting for over a year for bogies. I got tired of waiting and got some Ovals from CZ-USA. They describe them as Super Sharp. Hopefully one of these new Lok grips is extremely aggressive.

bleep.  They are "similar in thickness to stock grips".  Defeats the purpose for me, I'd be looking for a similar impact that putting LOK on my 75B had.  I am looking for a replacement for my 1" thick EDC right now and I want it to be the RAMI, but at its current profile I may as well just carry my P-07.  Thinner would be better and make it more of a "max conceal" option for me.

I have no connection with this company expect for the fact I bought their grips for the RAMI.

https://coolhandgear.com/catalog/product/gun-grips/cz-2075-rami-bd-g10-gun-grips-hold-in-texture-czr-t/

The nice thing is that hex screws, o-ring and tool is included as well as free shipping.

How do they compare to factory grips?  Pictures are hard to tell, is there much palm swell below that indentation that looks like the webb of your hand would ride?

Actually I asked them the same question before I bought the grips.  The grips do not have any palm swells but it has finger relief for your thumb and 2 fingers.  It also has a relief for the mag release.  It is only slightly thinner than the rubber grips but because of the finger relief it feels thinner.

That's what I thought.  I'm not so worried about the feel, it's easy enough to handle, I'm just looking for the slimmest option I can find.  The options I'm looking at like the P365 and XDE are 1" wide whereas the P-07 is 1.46".  The Rami meets half way at 1.2" but I'm not looking for that, I'd rather just carry the P-07 and get 6 more rounds.

CZ really needs to make a single-stack 9 or even better a response to the P365 packing 10 rounds into a much smaller package.

As far as grippiness goes, I got an email replay back from Blake at LOK Grips:

"I would say the Z-cut is the most aggressive. It is similar to the Ridgebacks but with a row of "teeth" up the center of the grip."

Looking to replace my grips on my RAMI BD -  what's the consensus  - LOKGRIPS crosscut, ridgeback, or z-cut ?
