Finally got to spend some time with the 97b yesterday. Using 185 SWC with 3.8 grains of Clay - soft load for steel plate - I had the most fun...almost ever! Less recoil than a 1911, more "solid" than my Shadow 2. I really recommend it! (The pro package is installed, which required a bit of extra fitting for the firing pin block lever.) Get Lok palm swell grips, too. I may be preaching to the converted. The "big hand" issue wasn't an issue. I wear medium gloves, and have wide palms and short thumbs and found the gun quite comfortable to handle. Now back to work
