Farewell to polymer (almost)
« on: January 16, 2019, 10:08:33 AM »
Hey guys,

Just thought I'd mark the occasion of my SP01 Shadow finally arriving, after almost 2 months waiting for a permit to acquire. After years of shooting an M&P I have fallen victim to 'CZ syndrome', an affliction which seems to have befallen about 98% of IPSC Production, and for all the obvious reasons.

Yes the DA is in the "are you kidding" vicinity, after years of a 5lb trigger so spring adjustment will be first on the list, but holy crap SA is ridiculous...along with 'what reset'?  :o lol

Unfortunately our Nationals is in 6 weeks and not enough time to get used to such a vastly different gun, plus work out a load (as well as having to worry about OAL for the first time ever lol) so the M&P will get a good final outing before I get to shoot the Shadow.

But what a thing of beauty it is...with a Combloc type solidity. Run dry on ammo and it could function as a fairly effective bludgeon  ;D

Edit: Uh, apologies for the pic size lol
