SBT805 brace concern.

I recently bought the SBT805 EVO Complete version brace since I liked the style and supposed ease of mounting, but mine does not just slide on and off as expected. I had to litterly beat it on with a rubber mallet. Is this actually the norm?

Yep, that is the norm. Scorpion's molded receivers seem to vary a little from gun to gun. Greasing the mating surfaces and then gradually working it on and off a little at a time seems to help "wear" the mating surfaces in. You do want the brace to be a tight fit however.

My brace came with the gun.. i had the same problem when I installed the brace
