Maybe when the Glocks get to the end of their service life, they'll swap to P10C's! lol

Could be similar to other hi speed/low drag units...they HAVE to have gear different from the "rest of the guys".

Some of all of the above reasons one suspects, and product development and procurement cycles. P10, Scorpion and Bren series are relative infants [emoji3]

For what it's worth I saw several Scorpions being used by first responders to the Kenyan hotel bombing incident. Of course they weren't all decked out in tactical gear. One guy had 2 mags reversed and put together with black electrical tape. Another guy had sandals but yeah still a better response than Parkland Sheriffs department. Uniformed military were using FALs, go figure, and a lot of civilian dressed guys were sporting AK folders. Might have even been a Bren in the mix, but I'm not that familiar with them.

Their loadout is pretty standard for more European CTUs. The 416 is very well vetted and for a European nation, it's kind of the best option for a fully featured AR-15 type rifle from the factory (probably cheaper than a Colt Canada C8 or SIG MCX, etc). The Glocks simply fill the needs of a pistol (back up weapon!) and they are the status quo with other forces. I'm sure it's easier for whoever decides the arms that they can just copy US and British CTUs who issue out Glocks since it's essentially validation. However, I do genuinely believe that the P10C/F could make it's way in more CTUs with Glocks on the end of their life-cycle and might look for a new gun.

Cookie cutter equipment to look cool and up to date with when they go to the first responder anti terror conventions. Logistically it makes sense to run gear with those you may have to work with in the future.

Meh, who cares. There's tons of military/LE/SF around the globe using CZ pistols and rifles. CZ doesn't need to prove their worth to anyone.
