I prefer a black slide. I'll wait. Hope there aren't a lot of people regretting grabbing the silver slide models.

I don't mind the silver nPVD slide. My only concern is the front cocking serrations because I use leather holsters.

Checked out the 43X,like the longer grip feels good for a small gun in my hand.

I got to handle both yesterday, from the perspective of how the gun feels in my hand, the 43x/48 are very good, filled the gap between my Kahr CW40 (almost too thin) and G19.  However, that's exactly where my Shield fits in.  I won't be getting one of the new Glocks, but if I do, it would be the 48, just because it balances in my hand better than 43X

Of the two, i like the 48, looks good, longer sight radius, front serrations.

I picked up a G48.  I wanted the longer sight radius.

I kinda like the idea of a slimmer G19 size pistol. Does the G43X and G48 have the same irritating trigger dingus as the G19? That's the one thing I truly hate about the compact and sub-compact  Glocks. I've put a flat face trigger on both of my G19s. Is the trigger group the same size as a G19? Would an Apex or Zev 9mm trigger or trigger group drop in?

If I can upgrade the trigger I may be getting a G48 when the black slide version come out.

I handled a G48 at the range today.  It felt good in the hand.  Just about the same grip length as my G43 w/ a TTI +2 extension on it, but @ 10 rnds instead of 8.

However I?m more interested in the P10S.

My Glock 43 came with the trigger safety tab which would not go flush so I bought an Overwatch Precision TAC with a trigger safety tab which goes flush. Went to a gun show today checking out the 43X and 48, both had the same trigger safety tab which does not go flush when trigger is pulled. Overwatch Precision lists the G19 as a small category or separate category for the G19 Gen 5 which is not compatible with the G43. They list the G43, G43X and G48 triggers being compatible with each other. I'm going to order an Overwatch Precision FALX with curved trigger to try out with a G43X.

Just picked one of the Glock 43X for my wife. She's not sure if she wants to give up her Sig 232 stainless with crimson trace laser grips. Have not had a chance to shot it yet.
