Lifter arm in Short Reset System?
« on: February 07, 2019, 08:43:44 PM »
Hey all.

I have a manual safety SP-01. It already has the Ultra Light Kit installed.

I want to add the Reach Reduction Kit 2 to it. Looking at the description on the CGW sight, it says that it requires the SRS.

Looking at the parts of the SRS, the only difference between the SRS and the Ultra Light kit is the Short Reset Lifter Arm.

1. Is this correct?
2. Is there a part number for just the lifter arm?

I believe that you are correct. The short reset is a product of the CGW low lift Firing Pin and the CGW modified lifter arm working together.

I do not see a CGW lifter arm listed for sale separately. I assume that CGW dose not list them to avoid issues. In the past when i picked up extra CGW lifter arms to experiment with i emailed CGW to get them. I suggest contacting them by email or phone.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Glad to assist. If you are going to uninstall the factory lifter arm and install the CGW lifter arm an extra lifter arm spring is a good part to have handy. The lifter arm springs have a propensity to be lost or damaged during removal/installation. At their cost i find extras to be worth while insurance.
