Anyone have any information on what's the latest with them?  I'm a big fan of their SAR k2 .45 and SAR CM9 in 9mm, but it looks like their imports are still off an on and not any new products in a year.  Just wondering if anyone here knew what was happening with them.  thanks!

Wish I knew! I love my stainless K2 45. Wish we could even get half of what is shown on their home website http://www.sarsilmaz.com/en/ . SAR USA only seems to have a few poly guns that they import. not a fan of the plastics. You'd think they'd be beating down the door to import more. Tristar has done very well importing. Maybe the guys at Canik need to go teach SARSILMAZ how to play the firearm import laws in the U.S.

I heard they were going to stop importing the K2 45 and bring in the compact version which basically just has a shorter slide and barrel. It seems that the Stainless version was only available for a really limited time. I gave up on my search and just purchased two black ones from Gunbroker.

The biggest issues with Canik and Sarsilmaz is lack of parts availability and aftermarket support. CGW offers a few parts for the metal Caniks which makes them an even better value than they already are.

I have no idea what is going on but I sure do like my Kilinc 2000 Mega 9. 600 flawless rounds through it so far.

Talked to the Sar USA at Shot and apparently we are going to see some new steel imports at some point this year.

My rounds count is 2100 + 2200 on .22lr Witness upper. This is awesome gun, but I'm waiting when spare parts will be available.
I only changed recoil spring recently, cause factory became weak. Put Wolffs 15lbs for EAA Witness.

Thanks all!  I'd love them to bring in the SAR K2 .45 compact version!  I'll keep my eyes open, they told me the same in 2018 though.  It's good they were at Shot show though.
