EVO 3 Carbine CZC trigger break in and Venom sight in.
« on: March 11, 2019, 10:19:23 PM »
I just finished putting in a CZC hammer, trigger, and disconnect in my EVO carbine.  Then bore sighted the Venom at night in the back yard.  The last time I tried to dial in the Venom, it was too cold and I left after shooting 10 rounds.  Today after work I went to the range and the temp was 57 DegF with no wind and not a soul in sight.  Perfect.  It took a little doing to adjust to the Venom, but towards the end the plan came together.  There are four groups on the target, with the one high and center being the last  This was at 50 yards.  I'm looking to improve on this.

That's still a good grouping in the upper DC.  I am going to put a Sig Romeo 5 on my Evo. As I have had good luck with the romeo/holoson in the past.  Also I just installed the HB lightened spring kit.  So looking forward to trying the reduced trigger pull out.

Let me know how the HBi trigger and the spring works out.  The CZC custom parts brought the trigger down to 5.5 lbs and a very crisp break.
