Czech prime minister visit to White House and gifts
« on: March 08, 2019, 10:01:18 PM »
The prime minister presented a CZ 75 Republika Edition number CSR-1946 (100 made for the 100th anniversary of the 1918 founding of the Czechoslovakia state) at Thursday?s visit. This SN was chosen for President Trump?s birth year. It appears that a photo of the pistol was actually presented as there are some requirements that still need to be done for a formal transfer of the pistol itself. In 2008, President Bush received a CZ 550 in .308 with hunting motifs on it. As expected, the translation in the clips is not the best but you get the idea. Not to be overlooked, the other gifts of garnet earrings and the Koh-I-Noor Hardtmuth coloring pencils are  very nice products representative of fine Czech workmanship and production.

Not a big fan of commemorative pistols but I like this one quite a bit.

The bad thing is gifts received by the President in office are then property of the United States and when he leaves office, it stays behind. Beautiful workmanship...and now we have a President ho has a CZ. ;)

Ome could always get in line, put on a uniforn and be issued an alternative,  but it might be a Beretta.

Actually, when I did that, it was a 1911A1. ;)

I suggest to the president that he set up some targets in the Rose Garden and
give us a range report with pics.   :)

Hiya and thx for the thread, all the gifts are cool, reminded me of the scene in the movie Elvis and Nixon, when Elvis brought a cased 45 for a gift. Google Babis, and see if you don't agree how ironic "truth prevails" as an inscription is,coming from a multi billionaire currently under fraud charges including his adult children, saying he will never resign, I'm sure the two had plenty of things to chat about away from the cameras. lol. Be well.
Yeah and like Trump Babis cares about the future of his country and the security of it's borders. They have the same LIBERAL SKANK to deal with in the Czech Republic as we have here.

Leave politics out of the thread please, gentlemen.
