So doe a CZ75B have a hammer safety thumb? What is the action to which it speaks of lowering the hammer? The firing pin is apparently that exposed round section that the hammer directly touches if its fully decocked.
In such a position, the pull on the trigger seems to be most safe, high resistance to pulling the trigger, immediate resistance. If the hammer is lowered until it catches on this halfway point (dont know what its called), the trigger is much looser in the beginning, and when it reaches resistance its still easier to pull, which would seem less safe than the full pull of fully decocked.
I've figured out how to fully decock safely. Im wondering what action or hammer safety thumb means. If the latter means that secondary catching position? Would lowering hammer to the action mean fully against the firing pin?
