P-10C targets at 25 and 50 yards today in the wind
« on: April 02, 2019, 06:31:28 PM »
Yep, I shot my P-10C better today than my P-10F!  I've had this happen before with the P-07 vs P-09.  The crosswind was 15-20 mph and I seemed to be able to release the shots without as much wobble with the P-10C.  I shot a few 88-92 timed fire targets with the P-10F and decided I just needed to go in to plinker-missed-last-week-just-shoot-for-fun mode with the little carry gun, so I packed up the P-10F after 3 targets.

Here are the P-10C timed fire targets, two scores, both 94's.  I was ecstatic with this result.

So I got ambitious and set a slow fire target at 50 yards, took 5 shots to check the hold point in the wind, then shot 10 rounds slow fire single hand for an 88-1x with the compact striker gun in the wild wind.

On a calm day with a match pistol, this would be a mediocre score.  For a windy day with a compact carry gun in my hands, this is an exceptional result.  No, I didn't try to match it or duplicate it, I had to return to the office.  Too windy for video, and I was on a time limit as well.

So, another good day with the striker fired CZ's, an excellent day with the P-10C.
