HD style sights for a 75B Compact
« on: April 21, 2019, 09:57:00 PM »
Does anyone know if there are HD style sight options available for a 75B/P01.  I?m not seeing anything from Trijicon, Ameriglo or Night Fision.

Hiya Indy_Tim and thanks for the thread. Next to my shotgun,my 75b p-01 is bedside and the factory sights seem to me shall work home defense wise, keep a hand held surefire torch next to it. When I did try a trijicon for a brief period cz custom had them for sale, maybe look at their offerings if ya need glow in the dark sights. And someone recently posted bout those metpro bullseye, ones that seen would also work proper. Be well.

I will share with you what I've found for the 75's. I'm fortunate to have found a great combination. At least a combination that im 99% satisfied and happy with. (Would like a ledge on the rear sight for 1 handed manipulations)
My gun, CZ 75 D PCR. It's very much like the P-01 as far as size and operation. Front sights are the same but the rear sight is slighty different due to some extra machining on the PCR slide.
I was using the Truglo Tfx pro. I liked them but very little space around the front post, plus I prefer the i-dot and "figure 8" dot-on dot style sights over the 3-dot sights.
I've included pictures of tfx pros along side my other two dot on dot, and then all dot on dot.
pm me if you're interested in the links to the sights or if you want the TFX sights i just took off .

Thanks for the replies so far guys.  On my P07s, I run the Night Fision sights and love them.  On my 1911s, I have both the Trijicon HDs and Truglo TFX sights and the HDs are easier for me to shoot.  I have a set of the TFX sights on one of my 75Bs and while they are the best I?ve found for the 75 series, I?d love to get a set of HD style for my P01, 75B Compact and 99021.

The NRA convention is in town this week and I plan on stopping buy the Night Fision booth to see if they have considered doing the HD style like their P07/P10 sights.

For those that are unfamiliar with HD style sights, they are a bright, fluorescent front ring night sight and a U notch rear blacked out night sight.  They also incorporate a ledge for single handed manipulations.  I have the Night Fisions on both of my P10Cs and they are the sights that I shoot best with.

I?m really hoping that if Night Fision can do the P07 and P10, making a series for the 75B would not be too difficult for them.

Viking, i apologize.. i got carried away with the picrure cropping and erased the originals before i realized you probably wanted the full sight picture and not a bliwn up version.  I will get some more tomorrow.
This setup really does work well with all lighting conditions with the biggest challenge coming from the indoor with dim lights which you can see in the last picture.  However, there is plenty of light that surrounds the front post that allows for a traditional strong front post silhouette.

(I got the one for the SP-01 because i was told it has a bigger front dot, but on the same width blade as the one for the P-01or 75 compact) )

(There are specific ones for P-01, and one specific for the PCR, and specific one for the P-10C.
