The ukraine war brings strange things in europe , true . About a year ago my default training ammo , s&b 3006 fmj 180gr , was simply out of stock . The same was true for calibres like .308 , .223 and 9mm . More expensive hunting loads or jhp in 9mm were still available but like said expensive .
Now its all available again and prices are below normal . three months ago i went to a local ammo store and was blown away they sit on military surplus ammo that the doors are bursting . I stocked with 9mm fmj as much as my gunsafe can carry .
The shop owner told me germany bought any ammo they were able to get with the intention ukraine but somehow there is a decision NOT to deliver to ukraine . So germany is full with fmj ammo and sells it off now to the civilian gun shops .
Since the gun laws here are so strict only few people possess guns at all the gun shops who bought the ammo are sitting now on massive stocks .
Not sure how cz is involved in ukraine deliveries but i personally had no problems in getting a ring mount for my scope on my cz527 ( since cz uses a non default 16mm rail on thev527 ) . And cz was very supportive and helpful so i cannot say anything bad .
When you contact them with an attitude like the initial post here - well , the czech are proud people...
